Go big, go high, go ski!
This is the motto for the start of the 2023/24 ski season in Tyrol’s longest side valley. Two World Cup events, 100% snow guarantee due to the altitude and the opening of the two top ski resorts Sölden and Gurgl on 16 November 2023 make the Ötztal a “place to be” from the first minute of winter. Six ski areas with a total of 363 kilometres of slopes and 90 lifts offer pure variety and favourite slopes for every taste. Those who can’t decide benefit from the Ötztal Superskipass as a key to the valley’s entire offer. There are also plenty of gentle activities: for example, in the family-friendly Hochoetz region, at the quiet nature experience in Vent, Gries and Niederthai or at sport & enjoyment in Sölden and Gurgl.
