Mia has been snowboarding since she was eighteen months old, travelling around Europe in the family motorhome. Mia met the GB Snowsport Freestyle coaches while out in Laax when she was ten years old and later that year was selected to the team’s development squad. During the following seasons Mia continued to train with GB Snowsport Freestyle coaches in Laax, Livigno and Hintertux and enjoyed competing in the World Rookie Tour comps.
Now 15, Mia is seeing success after success on the junior and senior scenes. In 2022 alone, she took 1st place at the RedBull Rail Yard, took 1st for Big Air and 2nd for Slopestyle at the Junior World Champs, took 1st at Vans Plaza, had 8 Europa Cup Wins (Slopetslye & Big Air) and was overall women’s champion at the World Rookie Tour Finals even though she’s a Grom.
She won the slopestyle event at the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2023, and came second in the 2022–23 FIS Snowboard World Cup slopestyle event in Laax, Switzerland.
