THE NORDIC AND BIATHLON EXPERIENCE
By popular request, RAF Nordic along with their partners, the British Biathlon Union, will be offering a unique opportunity to use their Laser Biathlon Rifles, and try your strength on the mighty SkiErg, provided to us by Concept2UK, which we use to develop our athletes for competition.
It will be first come first served so if you want to see if you could be the next GB Biathlon star or simply want to test your strength and coordination, and maybe see who’s the champion in your family, amongst your friends, or amongst all the visitors to the stand, then stop by and see us.
ROLLER SKIING (SKIING BUT ON WHEELS!)
Introduced to the National Snow Show 2022, RAF Nordic along with their friends from Army Nordic and Snow Sport England will be offering opportunities to try your hand at roller skiing. Roller skiing is an important part of our collective training as it provides us with the ability to train in the United Kingdom, 365 days per year without the need for specialist locations.
If you want to give roller skiing a try, please stop by our stand early to book a time slot as we wouldn’t want you to miss out on this unique experience (last year we booked out the whole day’s slots within 30mins of show opening, so be warned!).
